is there a way to exclude certain companies on the find jobs using Linkedin?
I just realised it's absolutely burned through all the credits I had to test with
can you refresh them, as I'm blocked rn
You unfortunately can't exclude specific companies from the search but you can exclude certain parameters (ex. industry, keywords) in the initial companies search to avoid any specific companies from being imported. Also, if you have a list of companies that you don't want in your table you could import the list onto clay and use Lookup Record to find matches between your "exclude these companies" table and working table to delete the matches.
I didn't see any exclude industry filter on the import jobs from Linkedin play
nick@spotted.vip i think
And that’s correct about the find jobs from linkedin search — you can’t exclude industries there but if you’re finding jobs specifically at a list of companies (which you have in a companies table), you can exclude industries from that companies search
then when you run the find jobs search, you can select that company table at the top of the enrichment (will include a screenshot below)
You still have 500 credits in your account! Can you clarify how you’re being blocked?
One of your colleagues credited around half of the credits back, not sure if that will be enough Also, how can I exclude companies from the find jobs search? can you record something for me?
Couple options:
start with a find companies search. there you can exclude specific industries and get a list of companies that might exclude the ones you don’t want. then run a find jobs search, and in the top left left panel of the search select the companies table where you had previously excluded industries (screenshot above).
create a list of companies on a clay table or google sheet that you do not want included in your find jobs search. run a find jobs search as you normally would (initially ignoring any companies that show up that you might actually want to exclude). then use the lookup record function to find matches between your find jobs list and your other list (either clay table or google sheet) that includes your list of companies to be excluded. wherever there are matches found, manually delete those rows from your jobs list
