I am trying to augment a existing company table with an ocean based lookalike search, however, when I try to do that I’m not sure how to make the output companies flow into the columns of the original search, which should then flow into a people search. I was hoping to do the regular company search and ocean search in the same table as different sources so that I can dedup the companies - deduping in the main thing I am concerned about because I fear that the ocean search will return a lot of the same results I already have. What should I do here? https://app.clay.com/workspaces/476916/workbooks/wb_tZmJqaGqwWbf/tables/t_SwGGKQUA2re5/views/gv_JaozHavAFDgu
Here's how to accomplish this workflow: 1. First, add the Ocean.io integration to your existing company table as an enrichment: • Use the company domain as the input • Configure your desired filters (location, company size, industry, etc.) 2. To handle deduplication and organize the data: • Use the "Write to Table" function • Select your original table (not a new one) • Choose the fields you want to include from the Ocean.io results • Click the column header and select "Dedupe" to remove duplicate entries 3. To connect this with a people search: • Use the "find contacts" search option in the enrichment tab • Select the option to save results into the company table • You can set a limit for the number of contacts per company • The contact profiles will be automatically enriched This approach will keep everything in one unified table while ensuring you don't have duplicate company entries.
