I am trying to make a template that folks can reuse when they do the find people from linkedin search so that they dont have to build all of the enrichment and salesforce columns from scratch each time. is there a way that i can do a find people from linkedin based on a specific clay table of domains when starting from a duped table? it seems like when i am in a duplicate table and do import --> find people from linkedin i no longer have the option to point it to a clay table
Hi, thanks for getting in touch! let me check
Yes, you can paste the domains here
i see that you can paste the comma separated list but i want to point it to a clay table instead
which is an optin when you make one from scratch vs having a duped template
This won't be possible at his stage, I am assuming you are in a people table that is blank and want to import more contacts... So a workaraund could be using the write to table integration to pull all the company domains or linkedin urls from one table to the current one
Write to table integration to extract a list of results into their own rows in a new table, here's a quick video: https://www.loom.com/share/841cc9c009194f1688bbd134b3e4f388
so im not trying to write to a table. i have a table existing that has a list of domains, and i am trying to use that table/list to use in the find contacts from linkedin function to populate a table
when creating a brand new table you have this option to use a clay table
when i have a blank table that i created from duplicating a previous table that is no longer an option
the picklist field to actually choose the clay table is missing
yes, unfortunatelly is not possible doing this the other way, that's why maybe pulling the domains from another table to the current one can be a workaround
do you know offhand if the domains have to actually be comma separated or if we copy and pasted domains from excel and they were just on their own lines will it work?
i could easily test but figured id ask if you know immediately
looks like it works
you can paste a full text of domains separated by commas or enter one by one the domains
