Using Clay to Identify Companies with Multiple Sites and Hiring Blue Collar Profiles: A Step-by-Step Guide

·
·

Hello everyone, so I’m starting to get a better understanding of what’s possible using Clay and how to use the tool. Since most of you here are probably more experienced, I want to see who can help me figure out the best way to run this play: From a big list of companies (1K+), I want to be able to identify those that:

  • have more than 1 production site/location

  • are hiring operations profiles (blue collar)

  • whether they announced any growth plans or recent acquisitions (it is non-tech so fundraising isn’t the same)

  • check if they have any people with keywords in their profile like “Employee Engagement” “Well-being” “DEI” “Employee Experience”

  • Optional: the exact number of employees on their website (so I can figure out the % of blue collar workers they have: #employees on website - #employees on linkedin)

Appreciate the help!

Hey Olivier, thanks for reaching out! Will leave this open in case any other users have some experience with this too.I do think it's doable: 1. Some companies may list their locations in their LinkedIn profiles (while not exactly mentioning if they're production sites it's a great place to start). A Google Search may be able to help here too.2. There are a few providers that can find job openings. You can use our Find Jobs from LinkedIn and reference the list of company LI URLs or domains, if you know they usually post these there. The other job opening providers could help if it isn't posted on LinkedIn though.3. We have an integration to Find News about a company and you can select the type of event to filter by, including growth or acquisitions. A Google search could potentially help here too4. Find People should help with getting profiles from linkedIn, there are a few fields to search for keywords either in the experience description or in their Bio - headline. It will return any matches that include them5. We have the Find headcount integration to help with this but if some don't have LinkedIn profiles then the number could be off. There are a few providers that can find "employee count" though. Hope this helps!

It helps, but having the whole “play” on setting this up would help me save time (+ valuable credits) to get it right from the start 🙂.

Yep, we're looking into the option of adding an AI feature that would help identify and run this for you but may take some time to implement due to the complexity and considering the amount of enrichments it has to evaluate. :)In case you'd like to chat with a Clay Expert and work with them you can find them here -> Featured Experts:: [https:://www.clay.com/experts](https://www.clay.com/experts)
