To create a "find people" search in Clay using variable fields, you can use the Find People feature, which allows you to filter by fields like job title, company, location, experience, and more. Here's how to set it up: 1. In your Clay workbook, click + Add at the bottom and search for Find People. 2. When configuring the search, you can specify variable fields such as: • Job Title (e.g., CEO, Manager) • Company Name or DomainLocation (city or country) • Experience Title/DescriptionSocial HeadlineCertifications, Languages, Education, and more You can layer multiple filters to build a dynamic query. If you want to use code or dynamic variables, you can map these fields from other tables or use formulas to pass values into the search fields. After setting your criteria, preview the results and import them into a new table for further use or enrichment. This approach lets you build highly targeted lists based on your chosen variables.

It looks like even with some code you wouldn't be able to use a source with varliable fields?

Hey! To set this up using variable fields, head into the enrichment panel and choose “Find Contacts at this Company” using the Clay enrichment. When you get to the save options, make sure to select “Save into this table” instead of creating a new one. That way, your variable inputs will work correctly and stay in context. Let me know if you want help configuring the fields!

Hey, You're right—currently, it's not possible to trigger a Find Company source directly via a webhook or API call. That functionality isn't exposed externally yet. We do offer the option to send a company and find lookalike as an enrichment which you could use in the table directly. For enterprise plan they typically start at higher than the most expensive annual pro plan paid upfront however if you're interested in the demo, we offer a live Open Studio with Q&A: 1. Tuesdays @ 3pm EST 2. Wednesdays @ 11am EST 3. Thursdays @ 8am EST You can register here: https://lu.ma/claylive If those times don't work or you'd like to dive in sooner, check out our quick-start resources at clay.com/university. Let me know how else I can help!
