A recurring problem. Waterfall, email has been found, but is not populated in the final merge column. How do I correct this.
This issue typically occurs when an email is found but fails the validation check. Here's how to investigate and potentially resolve it: 1. Unhide the validation columns to see the process behind the scenes. These columns aren't displayed by default but exist in the background. 2. Check if the email was found but failed validation. The waterfall might continue running even after finding an email if it doesn't pass the validation check. 3. Review your validation settings. By default, we use ZeroBounce for validation, but you can choose a different provider if needed. 4. Consider adjusting the catch-all email handling. By default, catch-all emails are treated as valid, but you can toggle on the "Only mark 'Safe to Send' emails as valid" option to exclude them. If the issue persists after these steps, you may need to request human assistance for further troubleshooting.
Hi Charles, thank you for reaching out. Charles - Do you mind sending the link (url) to the table so we can take a look?
Sure - https://app.clay.com/workspaces/455133/workbooks/wb_yAHK3yd5PUea/tables/t_HxHS7YA5Twvf/views/gv_w5nXtsZpwB3v. I believe the issue is, the provider is only finding a personal email - not a work email.
Hi Charles, unfortunately there seems to have been a glitch on this table making it so that it does not merge all the different emails found in one column. I will make sure to add back 100 credits so you can re-run this waterfall and hopefully it will function as expected. Sorry about this!
Hi, just added back 300 credits so you can re-run this waterfall!
Stefano - big thank you.
Stefano - another example, different worksheet, same problem https://app.clay.com/workspaces/455133/workbooks/wb_WQkwGPw6faES/tables/t_XnBuvWWZqBbP/views/gv_2MiYsWZTyj6z When no email is found, the next provider in the waterfall sequence does not commence.
Hey Charles, I don't see any enrichment inside this table - it may have been deleted. Could you provide more details about what's happening? Typically, when the next provider in a waterfall sequence doesn't start, it's because either the waterfall has its auto-update setting turned off or the table itself has auto-update settings disabled.
Hi Bo (. - I found the error - which is why did strike through the content. There is no delete function
Hey Charles - sorry, I'm not sure we're following here. Are you still seeing issues?
All good.
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback βCharles T.β!
