Triggering Clay to Build a New Table or Prospect List Programmatically

Is there a way to programmatically trigger clay to build a new table/prospect list? Use-case: I want to be able to pass a query to Clay, have clay build the list, and add that list to a campaign

Based on the available information, Clay integrates with various email sequencing tools to add prospects to campaigns, but there isn't a direct API or programmatic way to trigger building new tables. However, you can achieve your goal through the following workflow: 1. First, build your table in Clay with your desired data sources and enrichments 2. Then use Clay's integration with your preferred email sequencing tool (like Instantly, Lemlist, or others) to add leads to campaigns: • Add the sequencing tool enrichment to your table • Select your campaign • Configure the necessary fields (email, name, etc.) • Map any custom variables from your Clay table to the campaign Important note for Instantly users: Any custom variables you plan to use must already exist in your Instantly campaign before pushing leads from Clay. For 2025: If you're using Instantly, make sure to use their Version 2 API keys, as Version 1 support is being discontinued. You'll need to create new enrichment columns rather than duplicating existing ones.

Yes - And if possible the table would be pre-formatted with a template table with a pre-set sequence of enrichments

Taking a look at this it currently isn't possible to have Clay create a search from scratch and enter in the necessary filters to run. Question though these triggers that would be sent to Clay is just a trigger to create a table or would there be data included with this?

Ok thank you for clarifying, as I mentioned before this currently is not possible within Clay at the moment. However I can bring this up to the team to see if we can add it a s a feature.
