hi Clay Team- anyone experiencing failure to sync apify apps in clay. I am not getting any new data flowing while the wheel is spinning for a long time. Last week, it would instantly pull actor data. This week, nothing comes through. Any thoughts? I've closed out browser/refreshed, hard refreshed... No data from apify.
There could be a few reasons for your Apify sync issue in Clay: 1. Update schedule: The import refreshes every 24 hours. Check when the next update is due by clicking the Apify column header and selecting sources. 2. Browser cache: Try a hard refresh: - Windows: Ctrl + Shift + R - Mac: Cmd + Shift + R 3. Column dependencies: Ensure columns depending on data from other columns have their run condition removed. Set them to run only when the required URL is present. If these steps don't resolve the issue, you may need further assistance. Let me know if you'd like to try these solutions or if you need more help.
no that didn't solve the problem. Here's the table https://app.clay.com/workspaces/507736/workbooks/wb_B8AaYTsHgks5/tables/t_M6Zp8fBCJPNK/views/gv_mTVJeKNNWfqn
Hey Adam, I checked several of your Apify sources and didn’t see any issues on our end. I also added a “Created At” column to help track when data was last pulled — sorted by newest, it looks like the last successful run was on the 10th. If you’re expecting more data since then, could you let me know which specific sources you’re referring to? And if possible, a Loom video would be super helpful so we can see what’s happening in real time of the apify and clay both side to side so we can see more details
Bo (. Thanks for the follow up on this. i have to manually move the actor run in to clay. apify runs on it's schedule but it's not sycing in real time. i need to manually run the actor in clay. the time stamped created column is handy. I see it's a formula but I don't see a formula to copy. What did you input to get the time stamp?
The timestamp you're seeing comes from the "Created At" column, which is automatically included in every Clay table. There's no formula to copy - it's built in by default. About the manual runs: This could be due to mismatched schedules or conflicts between the two. You're saying that as of today, every day you go in and you retrigger all those runs? If that keeps being an issue, you might want to consider using a webhook instead. That way, Apify can send data directly to Clay in real time, without relying on two separate schedules.
You’re welcome—glad that helped! Let me know if there’s anything else I can support with.
