Hello! I have a Crunchbase subscription and want to pull info from company pages (such as funding round, type of company). I see that an integration is "coming soon." Any update on that? Any workarounds in the meantime?
While the official Crunchbase integration is still marked as "Coming Soon", we do have a working solution using our Zenrows scraping capabilities. Here's what you can do: You can use our template to scrape Crunchbase data which allows you to: 1. Find Crunchbase links using company domains 2. Scrape funding information and company details using Zenrows 3. Extract data like funding rounds, investor names, and other company information The Zenrows scraping solution is specifically designed to handle Crunchbase's anti-scraping measures and can effectively extract data from company summary pages. It uses features like auto-parse for data formatting and Premium Proxy with JavaScript rendering to navigate through Crunchbase's protections.
You can always use HTTP API requests to fuel this as well
You can use our template that leverages Zenrows scraping capabilities through Clay to extract Crunchbase data. Here's how it works: 1. The template uses a Google search to find the correct Crunchbase link for a company 2. It validates the link 3. It then uses Zenrows with specific configurations to scrape the data: β’ Auto-parse for proper data formatting β’ JavaScript rendering with Premium Proxy to handle anti-scraping measures β’ Anti-bot protection bypass This solution allows you to extract various data points including: ** Funding rounds ** Investor information ** Company details ** Partners * Other company summary page data The raw data can then be refined using Clay's column extraction tools or AI formulas based on your needs. You can get started with this workflow by using our "Enrich a list with fundraising information" template, which only requires a company domain as input.
