Hi there!
This issue happens because of Excel settings. Clay exports in UTF-8 format, so please check that your Excel or Sheets is set up to read UTF-8 properly.
1. Open Excel.
2. Go to the “Data” Tab:
• Select “Get External Data” > “From Text/CSV” (may vary by Excel version).
3. Import the CSV File:
• Choose your file, then select “Import.”
4. Set File Origin to UTF-8:
• In the “Text Import Wizard” or Import settings, set “File Origin” to “65001: Unicode (UTF-8)”.
• This tells Excel to interpret special characters correctly.
After completing these steps, your special characters should appear as expected.
