is it possible for me to push the emails written in clay to gmail as drafts? Like I have 100 personalized emials in clay, and then I want them pushed to gmail so then I have 100 email drafts in gmail
are there things you want to do with email drafts specifically?
yea what mark said- i think what you're asking for is basically what sequencing platforms do, and we've got a clay native sequencer in the works you can try out in the beta program (see 🔒[private feed])
I'd think the built-in messaging tools will be your best bet here, but let me know if you have other questions as you go along.
I could see possibility of an alternative – using Clay to send draft content to a Google Sheet, and then using Google App Script to fetch that content and create crafts – but that seems more complex and fragile than it would be worth.
Henry, thanks for getting in touch. While we don't have a native Gmail integration today, we integrate with other email sequencers like Smartlead, Instantly, etc.. Those could be set up to send from an inbox that you prefer.
Larry L. I think this is a good feature to build
Clay doesn't directly push emails to Gmail as drafts. Instead, we integrate with email sequencing tools like Smartlead, Instantly, Salesloft, Outreach, and HubSpot to send your personalized emails. You can connect Clay to any email tool using our HTTP API, or send messages to your CRM and use your CRM's automations to send emails from there. For Gmail specifically, you'd need to use Clay's integrations with supported email sequencers or connect through the HTTP API to push your personalized emails to a campaign rather than as drafts.
