so i bought the findymail api and tried using it to find emails, why is it using my clay credits?
can i get a refund on the clay credits used?
Hi Edmund, thanks for reaching out. Do you mind sending the link to the table so we can take a look? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1171717996/ac7729f84b426e1d0358af02/image.png?expires=1730835900&signature=aa2b7cb6b863615b1138b1c029db5086d6d03bcf805637da8614cfe822adee7b&req=dSEgF85%2FmohWX%2FMW1HO4zYTywSv0BZIf2BKsam%2FhVPuuzA%3D%3D%0A
Hi Edmund, I noticed both Findymail and Icypeas are set up with your personal API keys. I reviewed the credit consumption for this table, and it seems no credits have been used so far. This could mean the consumption is linked to another table or hasn't appeared yet if the table was recently created and credits were used in the last hour. In that case, weโll need to wait for our credit consumption dashboard to update. In the meantime, Iโve added 1k credits to your workspace in good faith!
yeah, the table was recently created and credits were used in the last hour
Thanks! should i still run the rows?
ran the rows for a second and it uses clay credits
You should be all set to go here Edmund, the provider columns I saw you set up in this table look like they're already running on your personal API key here.
findymail api is working out
The credits you're seeing being used up here are related to the validation columns running in the background from the waterfall setup you previously set up. So for each Icypeas or findymail column, you're also spending credits to validate those emails. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1240973071/6320ff9b773200b38821be4d1720/CleanShot+2024-11-05+at+14_55_29%402x.png?expires=1730838600&signature=cc579929bf2f54085f8b6fa017f0b7fdbaf97d5b0e742edc3a868304556aa496&req=dSIjFsB5noFYWPMW1HO4zeV3U4k%2B95J%2F%2FtVuW82B%2Ff5SjCScJEuWhqgVW%2BoJ%0AutMB%0A If you don't want this to happen, you can just delete the validation columns here.
ahh okay thanks thanks
i gotcha
