Hi all. I'm interested in automating a prospecting workflow that basically boils down to "On a regular basis, look up recently posted jobs of a certain type, by companies that meet certain criteria. Then identify a relevant decision maker at that company, and reach out with something personalized based on the company and role they're hiring for". Anyone done something like that in Clay? I'm relatively new to the tool and have used it for basic data enrichment, but not sure how I'd do something repeatable like this directly in Clay.
I don't have a table. 🤷
Hey Nathan G., so if you have a list of companies you want to monitor, you will have to create a table where you use the Find Open Jobs LinkedIn enrichment, and there you will enter your criteria for the jobs. You'll do a conditional run, so if there's a job found that matches your criteria, you will search for a decision maker and enrich his profile. Afterwards, you'd use OpenAI's enrichment to write a personalized line based on the job description. At last, you can connect your email sequencer such as Smartlead/Instantly to automatically add the prospect to your campaign. After that, you can run the first column (find open jobs) on a regular basis (let's say each week), and the whole table will autocomplete afterwards. So after you build it once, it's just 1 click after that per week to run it. Hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions.
I'm hoping to avoid maintaining a list of companies. In other words, I'd like to set criteria (e.g. industry, employee count range), and then automatically generate contact lists based on job postings at companies that match those criteria. Possible to do?
Yes, if you don't want to bring your own list of companies, you can start by using the Find Companies On LinkedIn data source for building a table. You can input search criteria such as industry, employee count, description keywords, country, etc. Nathan G.
Click on New Table, and afterwards click on Find Companies from LinkedIn to achieve what I have described above. Nathan G.
