Issue with Contact Extraction - Need Assistance and Clarification

Hello I created a company list from which I wanted to extract contacts. I therefore created another table using the bottom right "find people" tab. I set a limit to 1000 people, but as seen in the screenshot below, it seems this limit has been completely overlooked, and thousands of contacts were automatically added. Was there a bug? I lost an important amount of credit because of this, so a little help would be appreciated here.     I would say it used around 35k credits

    Thank you very much. Also, while we're at it, I was expecting last month's credits to roll-over to January. Indeed, we didn't use all of our credits between December 14th and Jan 14th, and we had about 70k credits left that are simply gone. Is there anyway to get those back?

    Hey Louis K. - just messaged this in the web chat, but adding here as well! Credits do not roll over month to month. The additional credits were manually added previously by our team. With our current pricing, you’re paying for an allotment of monthly credits.

    Would it be possible to have a similar treatment as the previous month then? Since the objective here is to use the credits when they are most needed 🙂

    Hey Louis K. looping back to the initial issue where the search limit was exceeded, here is what happened:

    1. 1.

      Initially you created a Find People search with a limit of 1000, and a limit per company of 10. Initially, there were only a few results.

    2. 2.

      Then to increase this, you added a lot of companies to the company table.

    1. a.

      This eventually populated the people table with 6000 results and exceeded that limit (by design).

    2. b.

      The goal was to allow users to add as many people as they want from the company table by adding more companies over time, therefore skipping the limit.

    So it did actually work as designed, although I can see how you wouldn't have expected that to happen.
