Hi, I’m looking at using the apollo integration to find contacts from a domain. I’m getting a email not unlocked for each contact, what’s the way around this? I have a paid apollo account

    This is due to the fact that Apollo fixed a bug in their API that had been there for months. Apollo’s API was designed so that when you search for people, a person’s email address wasn’t added to the response unless you had used apollo credits and saved them as a contact to your apollo account. Their API had a bug in it for months, that allowed email addresses to be shown anyway, which they have since patched. In order to fix this, what Clay is going to do is combine people and contacts in apollo in our find people search, so that after you save a contact, you’ll be able to get the email address by re-running the search action in Clay. However, unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do from the Clay side to retrieve the email without you saving the contact moving forward.

    The other workaround is to use Apollo's Enrich Person integration which should be able to find the email. Hope this helps!
