Hi Clay Team. I keep getting this error (see screenshot). Please help. Is the limit referring to the number of records in the destination table or is it referring to the number of records in the table I'm trying to run this search from?
The limit refers to the search results themselves, not the destination table or source table. When using Find People, you can set: ** An overall limit of up to 50,000 records per search ** A limit per company of up to 100 records If you're seeing fewer results than expected, it's likely because of these search filter limits. For example, if you have a limit of 3 people per company applied and the preview shows 5000+ results, the final number of imported records will be lower to reflect these restrictions.
Was that helpful?
As you can see I've set 5000 as the limit and 30 per company. What have I done wrong here? It results in a 'skipped search' every time I run it
The search parameters you've set (5,000 total limit and 30 per company) are within our allowed limits, as we support up to 50,000 records per search and up to 100 records per company. When a search is being "skipped," it typically means there's a discrepancy between the preview results and the actual import due to search filter restrictions. While you might see a large number of potential results in the preview, the final import will reflect all applied limits and filters. To resolve this, try: 1. Double-check all other search filters that might be restricting your results 2. Preview the results before running the full search to ensure you're getting the expected output 3. Consider breaking down your search into smaller segments if you're consistently having issues

Guys i just ended up making a new Find People Search enrichment column. It fixed the issue. No idea what happened with the other one. You can close this support ticket - thanks. π
never mind the problem is back once again...
Is it because I'm disabling something I shouldnt? I want to make it so these People Searches can only be initiated manually for a specific company each time.
Hey Max, thanks for reaching out. This limit is referring to the limit set in the search. I.e. the highlighted limit in the image below is likely less than the total number of rows within the table you're inputting the data which causes this error. The people search getting skipped is in reference to the setting that is toggled off within the column itself. If "enable automatic people search updates" is toggled on it should resolve the issue. Hope this helps! Let me know how I can best assist. :)
Hi Owen - thanks for this! Much clearer now. Will give it a try now
This has solved it. Thank you!
Of course, feel free to reach out with any other questions or concerns. :)
