Unexpected Lead Object Deletion in HubSpot: Need Clarification

We noticed something weird going on, every time when the conditions for "Lead Object Exists" checks out, after all the run completed, the Lead object on my HubSpot account will de deleted. When checking what deleted the Lead object, it mentioned it's caused by the API call - to which we have no idea how and why. Can Clay provide more information on this? Is it some error on Clay's end or HubSpot's end? Just did another test, and it appears that the same behavior still happens. Only when we create the Lead object, there is no error. Whenever we found that the Lead object exists, we'll still do some updates/associations, and in this case, it would delete the Lead object afterwards. May I know why did this happen?

Hi Loh, thanks for reaching out! I checked the last row of this table and it looks like a lead object was not created for this row because it already exists. It looks like you simply associated this lead object with the contact. A few clarification questions: ** Could you check if you have any HubSpot workflows that might automatically delete leads under certain conditions? ** Are you checking for the lead's existence in a specific list, or in the entire HubSpot contacts/leads database? * Can you still find the lead by searching in HubSpot's main contacts area? Checking on our end with the create association enrichment if this could cause anything to be deleted
