i just did an AI filter search for subindustries and Flo health didnt come up in it.... which makes me concerned, can i even trust it? whats ur take lil bro
If Flo Health didn't show up, it could be because:
- The company data is self-reported and may not be categorized exactly as expected [3]
- Our data refreshes on a rolling 2-3 week cycle, so some info might be outdated
- Your search criteria might need tweaking
Try adjusting your filters or using different keywords. The AI gets better results when you experiment with different wordings.

but when i went to enirch the company, clay found it... so i know its in the system
That makes sense! The Find Companies search and enrichment features work differently. [1]
Find Companies uses self-reported data that companies provide about themselves, which might not always match how they're actually categorized. When you enrich a specific company, we pull from our full dataset of 100+ providers to get more complete info.
Try tweaking your AI search filters or using different keywords - the search gets better results when you experiment with different wordings.

That's frustrating when you can see the exact subindustries right there! Try using our AI filters for more specific targeting - you can filter by subindustries like "Consumer Software" and "Digital Health and Telemedicine" directly.
Also try the natural language search - just describe what you're looking for conversationally instead of wrestling with rigid filters. [1] You can also use "Include description keywords" with broader industry categories to get more specific results.

starting our first TAM spam and we're gonna really niche down and target only consumer health apps (cuz our closed won data says so 🙂)... For the find companies search, I was curious how much you trust the AI filters on subindustries? Seems good but I am missing one notable company that has the EXACT subindustries... so im a lil suspicious
The AI filters are solid but not perfect - they rely on self-reported company data which can be inconsistent. [1] Since Flo Health shows up in enrichment but not your subindustry search, try these approaches:
• Use natural language search describing "consumer health apps" instead of rigid filters [2]
• Try "Digital Health and Telemedicine" + "Consumer Software" as separate searches
• Add description keywords like "health app," "wellness," "women's health"
The AI interprets criteria differently than exact filter matching, so experimenting with different wordings usually catches companies that slip through.

Try these approaches for better results:
• Remove all AI filters - just use "consumer health apps" in the description field alone
• Try Find AI instead - go to Add Table > Find AI > Find Companies and enter your natural language query [1]
• Use broader keywords like "health app," "wellness app," or "digital health"
The AI search works differently than exact filter matching, so simpler queries often catch more companies.
