Understanding LinkedIn's Employee Count vs. Associated Members Data

·
·

Empolyee Count with the native Enrich Company reads the “Associated Members” from LinkedIn, not the actual employee count. I’m realizing that LI only gives the 10000+ as a data point there. Is there a way to get the accurate number (ofc I can use a claygent etc just wondering if there’s a cheap off-the-shelf way with good data) I think the field should be called Associated Members, not Employee Count

Hi Andreas, happy Saturday! 😎 Thank you for sharing your observation! It’s a great point, and I’ll make sure to pass it along to our team for consideration. Here’s a quick explanation of why this happens: LinkedIn allows page owners to self-report their company’s size range when creating or editing a page. This can lead to discrepancies in reported numbers. Additionally, some companies might have fewer LinkedIn users associated with their business, especially if it’s an older company or one with less activity on the platform. I appreciate you pointing this out—your feedback is valuable! Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with. 😊
