Batch Editing: How to Assign Multiple Rows in a Column Quickly
Hey guys - simple question. How do I batch edit a column? In this case I just want to be able to quickly add a assignee for multiple rows without doing it 1 by 1
Unfortunately, we don't have a built-in batch editing feature for columns. However, you can use a workaround to efficiently add assignees to multiple rows: 1. Create a new column for assignees if you haven't already. 2. Right-click the column header and select "Edit Column" > "Select Data Type". 3. Choose the appropriate data type (likely "Text" for assignees). 4. Click "Save Settings". 5. Use the column filtering or sorting options to group the rows you want to edit. 6. Copy and paste the assignee name into multiple cells at once. For a more automated approach, have you considered using our integration with Google Sheets? This might allow for easier bulk editing.
