Hi, Is there a way to group information from different columns when some rows have the same value in one column?
You can use merge column function. Create column <> merge column
You have a few options to group information when rows share the same value: 1. Use filters to view only rows with the same value in a specific column. Click the Filter icon, select your column, and set the condition. 2. Create a new column that merges data from multiple columns: • Click "Add Column" > "Merge columns" • Select your data type • Write a formula combining the columns using "/" • Click "Save settings" 3. Use the dedupe feature to remove duplicate rows based on a specific column's values.
To group information from columns where rows share the same value: 1. Click "Add column" → "Merge columns" 2. Select your desired data type from the dropdown 3. Write a formula that combines the columns using "/" symbols 4. Click "Save settings" This creates a new column that merges data from your selected columns, effectively grouping the information based on your formula.
Will this group all matching info into one column?
it will only merge column based on a specific priority into one column
so it wont combine the different rows data into one column?
It combines diff columns data not rows
would there be anything that allows me to merge data from a row based on a column?
unsure about your usecase but i think you are looking for merge column function try it
Id like to group the ids based n the lender into one column
Then, what you want to achieve with it? i am asking because without knowing the end goal i dont see a reason for grouping
the end goal is to send the one column with all ids
Hey Charles, thanks for reaching out! There is absolutely a way we can combine this data from separate columns to achieve what you're looking for. Charles - Do you mind sending the link (url) to the table so we can take a look?
Thanks Owen! Much appreciated 🐐
