When auto-deduplicating based on a column, entire duplicate rows are deleted, not just the values in that specific column. The auto-dedupe function identifies duplicates based on exact string matches in your chosen column, then removes the complete duplicate rows.
Important: Deleted rows cannot be recovered, so all data in other columns for those duplicate rows will be permanently lost. There's no "override" mechanism - when a duplicate is found, the entire row is simply deleted.
