May I please get an update on the Claygent issues (Gemini 2.5)? I have not been able to run my enrichments since Dec. 27th. Thanks!
For Claygent with Gemini, you need Tier 2 access and it only works with the Gemini 2.0 Flash model. [1] Gemini 1.5 models may require additional access through Vertex AI or custom tiers.
We recently added access to Google's Gemini 2.0 Flash and 2.0 Flash Lite models for faster processing. [2]
If your enrichments aren't running, try clicking the column header, hover over "Run column," and select "Force" to jump start the run. You can also check if you're hitting rate limits - Clay has been deploying features like retries and smarter pacing to handle rate limits better.
What specific error messages are you seeing when trying to run your Claygent enrichments?
If you still need help resolving the Claygent enrichment issues, I’m here to assist. Would you like to provide more details about the errors or problems you’re encountering?
Gemini 2.5 worked perfectly on 12/23 for us and now it's stalling. I can manually run a cell but it will eventually revert back to saying 'click to run'. There is no error presented.
This sounds like a rate limiting or processing delay issue. Since Gemini requires Tier 2 access and only works with Gemini 2.0 Flash (not 2.5), that might be part of the problem. [1]
Try the force run method: click your column header, hover over "Run column," and select "Force" to jump start the runs.
We've been deploying features like retries and smarter pacing to handle rate limits better, which could explain the stalling behavior. You might also want to break large data requests into smaller batches and monitor your API quotas.
The reverting to "click to run" suggests the system is hitting some kind of processing limit or dependency issue that's causing the auto-run to stop working properly.
Is that what you were looking for?
Neither Gemini 2.0 or 2.5 is working. This is not related to Tier 2 as this was all functioning as expected on 12/23 & 12/26. And I am only running 1-2 records at a time so this is not an API rate limit issue. Nor am I getting error messages. Clay is acting as if the enrichment was never triggered.
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with the enrichments. I'll connect you to a human agent who can assist you further.

Hey Kelly! Thanks for reaching out.
Here are a few immediate troubleshooting tips that could help:
Token limits & quotas Go to your Google Cloud Monitoring Console and see if you’re hitting any limits:
Requests per minute (RPM)
Tokens per minute (TPM)
Requests per day (RPD)
Even on Tier 3, it’s possible a specific quota is getting capped when it wasn’t before.
Regenerate and re-add your API key API keys can sometimes go stale or lose permissions. Try this:
Go to Google AI Studio
Generate a brand new API key
Remove the old key from Clay
Add the new key to Clay
Test with 1–2 rows first
Verify API enablement In Google Cloud Console, double-check that:
The Gemini API is still enabled
Billing is active and tied to the correct project
Let me know if this works, if you re-add your key it typically does the trick but I would run through everything. As a backup, you can use Clay’s managed Gemini key or temporarily switch to Claude or OpenAI to keep things moving.
Thanks - I'll give this a try!
Updated the API key and confirmed the other troubleshooting tips were set-up properly. Still getting a spinning wheel and then it goes back to 'click to run' with no error message presented.
