Issue with Incorrect LinkedIn Profile Pull in Auto Enrich Table

ยท
ยท

Hi - I set up an auto enrich table for contacts and one of my reps notified me about this erroneous Linkedin Profile pull. The person is david.richardson@gm.com and Clay pulled in this linkedin profile https://linkedin.com/in/david-richardson-bb17961ab which then incorrectly updated the title. Our rep then told me the correct linkedin profile is this: https://www.linkedin.com/in/davidwilliamrichardson/?utm_source=share&utm_campaign=share_via&utm_content=profile&utm_medium=ios_app. Is there a reason why Clay pulled in the incorrect one? Or did I set my table up incorrectly?

There could be a few reasons why Clay pulled in an incorrect LinkedIn profile. It's possible that the enrichment process encountered multiple profiles with similar names or companies, leading to a mismatch. To ensure accurate results, consider these steps: 1. Use the "Enrich Person from Profile" feature if you have the correct LinkedIn URL. 2. Double-check the input data in your table, ensuring the full name and company name are accurate. 3. If using the "Find people at these companies" action, verify that you've set appropriate search parameters. To help troubleshoot further, could you provide more details about how you initially set up your table and what specific enrichment method you used?

    Hi Jen,

Looks like MixRank is returning a fuzzy match on this person. What you can do is add a filter in these steps to try to prevent it or add MixRank outside of the waterfall so that it wouldn't be running into these kinds of situations. Example of prompt for the Formula inside of the waterfall: Don't run if /Match is "Fuzzy"

Let me know if you need more help with setting up those filters!
