Understanding the Purpose of Clay API & Documentation Request

Fundamental question: what is use of Clay API? If documentation exists about the usage, please point me towards it.

    Ah ok sorry for the misunderstanding, the purpose of the Clay API key is so that user's do not have to go through the process of getting accounts with our providers and maintaining their own API keys. Instead they can just use the Clay API key when using integrations.
