Hey all. I have created fields in SalesForce to automatically create/update leads through Clay. I would like to be able to update a field in SF with the “Updated At” column, but I am unable to pull the data from said column. I can pull the “Created At” column just fine, but the “Updated At” column just doesn’t seem to exist as a column that can be pulled from. Anyone have tips or a workaround?
When updating Salesforce records from Clay, you'll need to ensure proper field mapping and data type matching. Here's how to handle this:1. First, verify that your Salesforce object has a field that can store the "Updated At" timestamp. You may need to create a custom field in Salesforce if it doesn't exist. 2. When setting up the Update Record action in Clay: • Select your Salesforce account • Choose the appropriate object type • Map your fields, ensuring the data types match between Clay and Salesforce • Toggle "Remove Blank Values" according to your needsIf you're still unable to see the "Updated At" column, please request human support as this may require investigation of your specific setup.
