I’m scraping jobs using the Find Jobs section in Clay. I only want to scrape jobs that are Remote, not On-site or Hybrid. I’ve already added filters, but I’m still getting On-site jobs. Is there a way to scrape only Remote jobs available on LinkedIn?
The Find Jobs feature includes location filtering options, but the sources don't specify remote work type filtering. You can filter by location (country, state, city) and job type (full-time, part-time, contract), but remote-specific filtering isn't explicitly mentioned. Try using comprehensive search terms in your job titles or keywords that include "remote" variations, since our platform doesn't have semantic search capabilities yet.You might also need to filter results after import or use additional criteria to narrow down to remote positions only.
Is there any alternate way to do this.
Yes, here are alternative approaches for finding remote jobs: 1. Use Claygent (AI web scraper) - Our built-in AI research tool can scrape LinkedIn job data in real-time and filter for remote positions specifically. 2. Import from LinkedIn Sales Navigator - Use Sales Navigator's advanced filters to create a remote job search, then import the URL into Clay's Find People Search (External List method). This retrieves up to 2,500 results per search. 3. Use Upcell.io Chrome extension - Manually browse LinkedIn jobs, filter for remote positions, then use Upcell's extension to add relevant jobs directly to Clay with one click via webhook. These methods give you more control over remote-specific filtering than our native Find Jobs feature.
Import from LinkedIn Sales Navigator - Use Sales Navigator's advanced filters to create a remote job search, then import the URL into Clay's Find People Search (External List method). This retrieves up to 2,500 results per search. I tried this but it shows to import people list only.
You're correct - Sales Navigator integration only imports people, not jobs. The External List method in Find People Search is specifically designed for Sales Navigator People Search URLs, not job searches. Sales Navigator doesn't have job search functionality that Clay can import. You'll need to use the alternative methods mentioned earlier: Claygent for AI web scraping of LinkedIn jobs, or the Upcell.io Chrome extension to manually add remote jobs from LinkedIn.
