Hey there, Is there any possibility to automate different flows within a workbook? I was watching a YouTube video where the interface of the person showing it allows the flows between tables to run automatically, but for me, it appears as shown in the attached photo
👋 Hey there! Our support team has got your message - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in this thread so that we can help you as quickly as possible!

Hi Nicolas, thanks for reaching out. It looks like the video goes in depth on how to use our integration with Apify. Apify integrates with Clay, so you'll be able to build tables based on Apify actor runs, or trigger actor runs at strategic points in your workflow. Here's how you can set up a Clay table from an Apify actor run: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1136960340/97e4e0aa1500879dbbe57ea0/CleanShot+2024-08-06+at+15_48_57.gif?expires=1728067500&signature=5d669a50f9d1e821c1951339dabc341413e22e43f28998a278d39e80b76e7246&req=dSEkEMB4nYJbWfMW1HO4zejWagDd7HACAut9xPamiwCKsQ%3D%3D%0A And here's how you can trigger an Apify actor in an active workflow: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1137852576/18ba4740bed56137b073908c/CleanShot+2024-08-07+at+11_15_01.gif?expires=1728067500&signature=bb90e541c4f00b945612e6ca97e47ccb5ae0449c8a1271216292263fd212eb3f&req=dSEkEcF7n4RYX%2FMW1HO4ze%2BfSmGrSfCT98ZbnAjuOC%2B%2BTg%3D%3D%0A For the trigger-based approach you'll likely have to study the documentation of the specific actor, to see what JSON payload it expects to trigger the run. I hope this was helpful. If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know!
Bruno R.! I dont need help with Apify… I just need to understand why he has different features than me in the workbook section
What discrepancy in features do you see in your account compared to the one displayed in this video. If you provide more context I can take a more specific look.
The first image is a screenshot of how their workbook section looks, and the second one is of how my workbook section looks. The two fundamental differences:
It has a text that says 'runs automatically'
At the top right, there is a toggle button that says 'automatic,' and it’s 'on.'
Based on that , I cannot automate the entire workflow each time that apify run and find new records
Thanks for clarifying this, did not see the attached images on my end at first, sorry about this Nicolas. It looks like Oliver was using our workflows visualization, which has since been replaced by workbooks. You should be able to set up the same logics which Oliver is describing here, the UI will just be different to what you see in the video. Let me know if I can help with more specific questions on the workflow setup here.
Okey thanks Bruno
Is there a way to automate "Find people at these companies"? Bruno R. This is the ideal workflow : a. Apify runs every week and pulls new job records. b. I keep the table active so that Clay can consume the new records from Apify. c. When a new company is added, "Find people at these companies" should automatically run with the pre-configured job descriptions and filters.
Hey there Nicolas thanks for reaching out, jumping in for Bruno. Taking a look at this workflow that you have written, this would work inside of Clay as long as you do not try adding a Conditional Formula to the Find People column that would be generated from this Find People search, as that would break the workflow. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1204874557/027060dbc29b00f8926e72a64044/image.png?expires=1728081900&signature=6f620c91ca8f7a49117c0563b2cd94112b8999de72668e979ad3379b8ccadd3e&req=dSInEsF5mYRaXvMW1HO4zdDJ8iJuBgk4NTNs3osNpRicsREm6aT3d70EYnzg%0A43h1%0A
