Can you help me understand how an email validateor like ZeroBounce can return a higher % of "valid email" for contacts who are no longer at that company? I made a list for a Sales rep with 138 contacts with a validated email through Clay and ZeroBounce, but only ~50% of those contacts still work at the company in the "valid email" address.
Here's the table: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/319627/tables/t_E32HZVE6E66x/views/gv_mkbnYiQoKoW6 Note: the column "employer match" is what I ran to compare the current employer and job title to what we had. The rep estimated that only 30% of the contacts from the 138 with a valid email address were accurate (i.e. they still worked there)
e.g. Rob Wellington hasn't worked at Degreed since July 2022 but his email address from that job came back as "valid" through ZeroBounce in Clay
I recommend using their most recent domains for the enrichment process, as that should prevent this issue based on their last experience. If thatβs not possible, you could simply filter those out and skip verifying them altogether. Let me know if you need any further assistance! π
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
