Hi everyone! How’s it going? I need a bit of help. I have a list of companies and need to find the CTOs for each one. The problem is, some companies have multiple CTOs, but my list only shows the first one. I need to get the emails for all the CTOs in a company. Any tips on how to do that? Thank you!
👋 Hey there! Our support team has got your message - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in this thread so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hey Marek! 😊 In this case, rather than saving the results in the current table, you’ll want to save them in a new table. You can do this by clicking on Actions > Find People at these companies and then saving the results in a new table. This way, each person will be listed as an individual row, allowing you to enrich all of them more efficiently. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1203195052/b6ba740566641c01d6971320a26c/image.png?expires=1727982900&signature=958436d067a133826d70416f797c714e19bb4ccd5a8763f03994baab6130db45&req=dSInFch3mIFaW%2FMW1HO4zRcb4Tt4%2B6wxi0BHMUeqh%2FqpcGRC00hOvjzIz0oC%0AY1Ka%0A To avoid wasting efforts on already found data, you can use the Write to Table action to send the ones you currently have. Additionally, you can use aLookup to see which companies have results and which don’t. From there, you can use Claygent to find related job titles for those with missing results. A side tip: I recommend using broader keywords for your searches (e.g., “technology”). This will cast a wider net and capture more relevant job titles. You can then refine results by adding exclusions as needed—fewer words will allow for more flexibility in matching. Let me know if this helps or if you need more clarification! 😊
Thanks so much for the answer and tips! :)
Oki I tried the write to table, I input all the data I want to transfer to the new table but it wants some API key. Where can I get it? 🙂
I found this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2IYNEJrJaY4
but he has some beta version in the video and my “write to table” look completely different and has different columns and instructions.
I have absolutely no idea how to do it :(
I am just loosing credits cause of the mistakes I make ….
Ok I screwed up completely and lost all of my credits:/
Hey there Marek thanks for reaching out, jumping in for Bo here. this API key can be found in the settings of your workspace. To get here you would click on the upper right hand corner of your workspace wher you profile name is. Then in the menu that pops up select "Settings". https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1204590072/395e38d6198d144201c2df678147/image.png?expires=1728065700&signature=8ca2f481e9ab6774ef95e2dac60b22549513cbc8e752b82b128134f92741bc07&req=dSInEsx3nYFYW%2FMW1HO4zSyDOBxKPYqZHJmqNqlVc2PSG5yHGRlAPtzaqWKd%0A2Xkg%0A From here you would head to your "API Key" tab in the screen that appears and "Copy" your Clay API key. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1204590073/c40ec62d9bf4b551808a6cc5c5b0/image.png?expires=1728065700&signature=10b905db9429069489d58b7ed668acffedb85196ab765df9044714011ce88b7c&req=dSInEsx3nYFYWvMW1HO4zW0MmLK2e90pELR2YCa2Y%2FIFpI9MztMCdyLlOgIH%0AIgzl%0A After copying this API key you can then head "Connections" menu, which is found on the left hand side of the screen in your settings. And select the "Add connection" option, then in window that appears select "Clay", which will then prompt you to name you API key and paste in the key we copied from earlier. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1204590074/784c37699644d87dacddaf2d2a77/image.png?expires=1728065700&signature=3cc15f6b537ac707e10deae7a0fd1b6cc6fc7b60c12fd9e0420f2bd6ad4097d3&req=dSInEsx3nYFYXfMW1HO4zbWfp9llWT0epCWmoFp5khxJAtMIJNImy5jUBtw4%0ASkcY%0A Also went ahead returned some credits to you so that you can keep on working in Clay.
