I'm trying to set up a webhook from HubSpot to a clay table I just need to push a Deal Record ID into a row in my Clay table How do I set this up? Do I need API access?
To set up a webhook from HubSpot to push a Deal Record ID into your Clay table, you can follow these steps: 1. In Clay, create a new table or use an existing one. 2. Set up a webhook source for your table: • For a new table: Select 'Create new' and choose 'Webhooks' as the source. • For an existing table: Click 'Actions', then 'Import', and select 'Monitor webhook'. 3. Copy the webhook URL provided by Clay. 4. In HubSpot, set up a webhook to send deal data to the Clay URL whenever a deal is created or updated. 5. In the webhook payload, include the Deal Record ID. You don't need API access for this specific setup, as webhooks allow direct data transfer. However, if you want to import more comprehensive deal data, you can use our HubSpot integration to pull deal information directly into Clay tables.
You can setup hubspot to fire a wehbook whenever a deal is created in HS and catch that hook in clay
To set up HubSpot to fire a webhook when a deal is created and catch it in Clay, follow these steps: 1. In Clay: • Add a new source by clicking "Import Data from Webhook". • Clay will generate a unique webhook URL for you. • Copy this URL. 2. In HubSpot: • Go to your HubSpot settings. • Look for "Integrations" or "Webhooks" section. • Set up a new webhook for deal creation events. • Paste the Clay webhook URL you copied earlier. 3. Configure the webhook in HubSpot to send deal data when a new deal is created. 4. In Clay, your webhook table will now receive data whenever a deal is created in HubSpot. This setup allows you to automatically capture new HubSpot deal data in your Clay table using our "write to table" feature.
