Hey support team! I'm looking to look up a field from a companies table that is linked to my people's table, but cannot find the column i'm looking for to add to my people's table. Screenshots and details in the thread.
When your tables are linked, click on any cell in the "Company Table Database" column in your people table, hover over the field you want, and select "Add as column." If you don't see new company fields, re-run the lookup column in your people table to sync updated information. You can also force run the whole column to see new values. Clay automatically links Find Companies and Find People tables, allowing you to extract company attributes directly into your people table.
I'm looking to look up and add the "Industries" tab from the companies table, but cannot find it on the people's table. Screenshots attached.
You need to re-run the company lookup column in your people table to see newly added fields like "Industries." Force run the whole column to refresh and sync the updated information from your companies table. Once refreshed, click on any cell in the "Company Table Database" column, hover over "Industries, " and select "Add as column." This happens because when new data is added to your companies table, the lookup in your people table needs to be refreshed to pull in the new company attributes.
If the "Industries" field still doesn't appear after re-running the lookup column, try force running the entire company lookup column in your people table to fully refresh the connection. The lookup column needs to be refreshed whenever new data is added to your companies table to pull in new company attributes like Industries.
