Issue with AI Enrichment: No Links Found for Y Entries in Clay

I'm facing an issue with the AI enrichment feature in Clay. Here's what I did:

  1. 1.

I have a table with two columns: "Alert URL" (containing Reddit links) and "Values" (with Y or N values).

  2. 2.

I used the following prompt in the AI enrichment:

  1. a.

Extract Reddit links from the "Alert URL" column where the corresponding value in the "Values" column is "Y". If "Values" is not "Y", return "No links found for Y entries". Only include valid Reddit links.

  1. 3.

I expected the new column to display the Reddit link from "Alert URL" when "Values" = Y, and show "No links found for Y entries" otherwise.

Issue: Even for rows where "Values" is Y, the output is consistently "No links found for Y entries." Table Link: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/124751/tables/t_kqdXjwxN3w2A/views/gv_rwb64WbZvEV7

Based on your description, there might be an issue with how the AI formula is referencing the data. Here are a few things to check: 1. Make sure the "Alert URL" column is marked as "Required to Run" in the Prompt Editor settings. This ensures the AI only processes rows with actual data. 2. When using AI formulas, you need to properly reference the dynamic data from your columns. Try rephrasing your prompt to be more explicit about accessing the URL data. 3. AI formulas are meant to help format, clean, and reshape your existing data. In this case, you're trying to create a conditional output based on two columns.Try experimenting with different formula variations and ensure your prompt clearly specifies how to access and compare the values between your columns. Remember that mastering AI formulas often requires some experimentation to find the right approach for your specific use case. Hey! No need for AI here - there's a simpler solution for filtering URLs based on "Y" values. Instead, you can: 1. Use "Extract URL" column 2. Add a run condition to only process when "Values" = "Y" Or: - Configure Slack Run Conditions to only send URLs for "Y" responses directly This gives you cleaner, more reliable results without using AI processing. I've already set the Extract URL enrichment to only process when "Values" = "Y".
