get redirect link clay function column not working... must be some weird edge case with google news rss feeds? https://app.clay.com/workspaces/489571/workbooks/wb_0sz9aqqQA9MvXT9Vtvg/tables/t_0szaj0aZPM4Y77shEgh/views/gv_0szaj0amHhhV5hueVCV
Google News RSS feeds often use encoded URLs that may not redirect properly with the Find Redirect Page function. [1]
Try a hard refresh first: Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac).
If the issue persists, click into the specific cells showing errors to see detailed error messages, which will help identify the exact problem with the redirect function.

Hi Garrett,
Thanks for reaching out to support. Would you be able to point me to the column in your table you're seeing this issue, would love to take a closer look at what's going on.
i tried adding an ai column but thats also not working https://app.clay.com/workspaces/489571/workbooks/wb_0sz9aqqQA9MvXT9Vtvg/tables/t_0szaj0aZPM4Y77shEgh/views/gv_0szaj0amHhhV5hueVCV
these two^
thanks! could you walk me through the logic behind this AI column.
Wondering if you've considered adding the response from the final article url run and a column and then running a normalize function on that instead of running a claygent run but would love to work with you a bit more to understand your logic and end goal to see what we can do.
i just want to get the actual article link
its clearly not working consistently for the ai column so doesnt seem like im doing it the best way and would like to know what best practice is
Hey
The issue is that the example you’re giving uses a dynamic token, so the model is just returning “example.com.” Try running it on a real row so the AI has an actual article to work with, and we can see how it behaves. That’s the best way to set this up.
Another tip is to tell it to visit the site and return the article link and something from there. That usually gives you a cleaner output.
Let me know if you have more questions.
i dont think u can add examples to the claygent web research ai
tried fixing but still nada 😞
Hey Garrett- you can, but as Bo describe, you'll have to run this on a real row where you direct it to a site and have it retrieve you data. Claygent is optimized for data retrieval.
