Why are the prompts being cut-off and not fully saving? When I hit save, and then try to edit the prompt again, the latter part of the prompt is cut off. There's no warning or indicator this is happening.
When working with AI prompts, it's recommended to test them on a small sample first to ensure they're working correctly and saving properly. To properly save and edit your prompts: 1. Start by writing your prompt in the Prompt field 2. Use the "Help me" button if you need assistance crafting the prompt 3. Test the prompt on a few rows before running it on your entire dataset 4. Make sure to click save after making any changes If you continue experiencing issues with prompts being cut off, please request human support to investigate this specific technical issue, as this may require direct troubleshooting.

I appreciate your feedback. Is there anything else you'd like me to clarify about this issue?
Does pasted formatted text have any impact on the prompt field?
Yes, formatted text can impact the prompt field. It's recommended to paste text without formatting to ensure proper functionality. When crafting prompts, you should focus on providing clear, plain text instructions rather than formatted content. If you need to include specific formatting in your final output, you can explicitly define this in your prompt instructions rather than pasting pre-formatted text.
Did that answer your question?
to clarify, does Clay pickup on formatting? does it remove formatting when pasted into a prompt field?
Clay has built-in text formatting capabilities, including the ability to remove extra whitespace from text. When crafting prompts, it's best to focus on providing clear, plain text instructions rather than formatted content. The prompt field is designed to handle text input, and while you can specify formatting requirements in your instructions, the system prompt itself should be clean and straightforward. If you need specific formatting in your output, you should explicitly define this in your prompt instructions rather than relying on pre-formatted pasted text.
