Troubleshooting LinkedIn Event Mentions in Your Prompt Setup

Hey! I'm trying to create a simple prompt that looks at someone's LinkedIn profile and checks their posts to see if they mention attending an event. I'm 100% sure the person talks about an event on their LinkedIn, but the prompt keeps returning "no results." Do you know what might be causing this? I’m starting to think maybe it can’t actually access the LinkedIn profile, but that would be strange since it’s a public one. Do I need to connect my own LinkedIn account to Clay or something? P.S. I can share the prompt I’m using if that helps — I didn’t include it in the initial message to keep shorter.

You don't need to connect your LinkedIn account to Clay to create a prompt that checks public LinkedIn profiles for event mentions. Clay uses public web scraping to gather LinkedIn data, not direct account connections. If your prompt is returning "no results", it could be due to a few reasons: 1. The profile might be private or have limited public visibility. 2. The person may not have been active recently. 3. The content might not have been publicly scraped recently. To improve results, you could try using Clayagent with advanced AI models like Argon or GPT-4 to ask specific questions about the LinkedIn profile, including event mentions. Hey Dante - you may have better luck with our new social posts enrichment. If you add enrichment and search for "social" you should be able to access a user's social posts, and then maybe run AI over that to see if the event is mentioned. Let me know if this works better for you!
