Hey, we are trying to get the Job Posting signal to work, but no luck so far. We have a company list of around 2000 companies, but Clay says they can't find a single job posting, which can't be correct. We didn't use any filters, so it should always show some job postings. We have been trying for a week, but still not a signel result. Could you please help us figure out if this is a Clay issue or an us issue?
This issue often occurs because data providers don't always return complete results in real-time, similar to other enrichment features. Try these troubleshooting steps: Expand your search terms - Since we don't have semantic search, include various job title permutations to capture all relevant openings. Test with a smaller sample - Run the enrichment on 10-20 companies first to see if any results appear. Modify search parameters - If not getting expected results, try expanding or modifying your keywords and search criteria. Reload the rows - Sometimes rerunning the enrichment after a bit can return more complete results from the providers. The Find Jobs enrichment pulls from multiple sources (PredictLeads, Google Jobs, and our native database), so zero results across 2000 companies suggests a configuration issue rather than the companies having no job postings.
Can I talk to a person? This answer isn't sufficient
Hi there, The Job Posting Signals monitors for any new job posting being posted by the companies and not for past jobs so that's why I believe that new results aren't showing up. If you want to just find active jobs, you can use the Find Jobs source and find any open jobs they have. I created a 'Find Jobs' table for you in your workbook. You can view it here: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/664998/workbooks/wb_0sytghzkXnTvveXAnrG/tables/t_0sz57u7r6jSR2ivD5Mi/views/gv_0sz57u7DX9DGAjoY6bw Let me know if I can help you with anything else :) - Smit
Hey Smit, but we have tried multiple job posting signal tables with zero filtering on 2000 companies for over a week… Its strange that not a single job posting has come up
The reason for that happening is that it takes a few days for our databases to get updated with the latest data and hence you don't see instantaneous results for the job postings. I would recommend waiting a week or 2 and then see if the results pop-up. If they don't then please reach back out and we can look into it further. Also, the signal table that you shared with me has these filters applied and I just wanted to bring that to your attention:
