Support team- I had a table that ran 1x month to identify people in new roles, but now this table that has worked for the past 3+ months doesn't work anymore. When I try to redo it in a new workbook, it states "The selected company table has no valid company identifiers."
This error typically occurs when your company table lacks the required identifiers (like LinkedIn URLs or Company Domains) needed to find people in new roles. To fix this: 1. Check that your company table has valid company identifiers (LinkedIn URLs or domains). 2. When recreating in a new workbook, ensure you're properly transferring the data structure. 3. Remember that duplicating a table only copies the structure, not the data. 4. Use the "write to table" feature to transfer your existing data to the new table. 5. After setting up the new table, rerun the company lookup in your people table to refresh the connection.
Well I am company agnostic in this table, so I don't have domains listed.
To find people in new roles, your company table needs valid identifiers like LinkedIn URLs or domains. Since you're company agnostic, you'll need to: 1. Create a new table with at least one valid company identifier column 2. Add LinkedIn URLs or domains for the companies you want to track 3. Use "Actions" → "Find people at these companies" 4. Set job title parameters to target new roles 5. Import the results to a new table Without company identifiers, Clay can't match companies to find people in new roles.
I want to track across all companies on LinkedIn- is that no longer possible?
You can still track people in new roles across LinkedIn without specific company identifiers. To do this: 1. Use the "Monitor for job changes" feature by clicking "Actions" then "Monitor for job changes" 2. Select your table containing LinkedIn URLs of contacts you want to track 3. Set how often the signal should run 4. Optionally add enrichments for additional data For future job changes, you only need to provide the "Person LinkedIn URL" column - do not include the "Company LinkedIn URL" column.
The table I had was just identifying people across linkedin in a role specified by a job title- so I am tracking all of LinkedIn for any role change.
To track people across LinkedIn for any role change without company identifiers: 1. Click "Actions" then "Monitor for job changes" 2. Select your table containing LinkedIn profile URLs of people you want to track 3. Set how often the signal should run (daily, weekly, etc.) 4. Add any optional enrichments for additional data 5. Click "Save and run" For tracking future job changes, only include the "Person LinkedIn URL" column - do not include any company identifiers.
