Trying to follow one of your blog posts but I can't seem to find "Complete Prompt" when I type in Open AI after selecting "Enrich Data"
Hey hey! Can you drop the URL for your table here? (if applicable) 🫶 Don't worry, only admins will be able to open your table 😉
I don't have a URL but rather a photo:
^ This is what I see
Also, for reference, this is the blog post I was following: https://www.clay.com/blog/how-to-use-openai-to-write-the-perfect-cold-email-from-scratch
Hey Daniel! Sorry about the outdated references in the blog. ChatGPT is now called "Use AI", here's a video of what the recent version looks like and how to use it. https://www.clay.com/learn/ai-snippets-the-quickest-way-to-find-insights-from-your-data
A few other videos available at Clay.com/learn. Let me know if you have additional questions!
Ah interesting - now if I run it - does that mean the email will send or does it just generate responses I can use?
Also, does this integrate with HubSpot - in that we can send emails that are tracked?
This is an integrated version of chatGPT, so it will only generate responses based on what you ask it to do, which you can then export into your CRM or Email Sequencer and use in your templates. We do have an integration with hubspot, to import and export data. You can find some all the providers and what they can do in Enrich Data :)
Ah, I see - ok thanks for the clarification. Question on a test that I ran. Why did it generate an error on this table: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/43481/tables/t_DMK09d5LFDbF/views/gv_Z8n26Cd6d05l for the Open AI step?
This is what it says:
Now I refreshed the browser and it is saying this:
ah, nevermind - I see what it is - my boss needs to add more credits to his Open AI API. One last question, I'm getting re Open AI on the table link I provided. Why do I get responses saying it can't help or doesn't have access to LinkedIn?
Sorry for the delay, Daniel! I can take a look at the prompt and see if it includes the person's LI URL which is likely what's causing this. Since openAI's API version of chatGPT doesn't have the same capabilities they gave to the browser version, this one is still constrained to not being able to navigate the web.In any case, LI also has crawler blockers so the AI will respect that even when using the Claygent integration that can browse the web
Could you share the link to this table so I can check it out? I think the way around this is to insert just the data points you have from the person's profile and that you need chatGPT to talk about instead of inserting the entire profile which includes the URL. Quick note, it doesn't always do this but as a language model it's still a bit unpredictable if it will understand the goal or not
Apologies for not responding here but it appears that we are moving in a different direction than using Clay for automated outreach with ChatGPT.
