Issue with Waterfall Process Causing Unnecessary Credit Usage

Β·
Β·

Hi Clay S., we ran a waterfall for work email address enrichment and we had a multiple records run through the full waterfall when an email was found from the first provider and was valid. Example is attached. This specific example had a valid status from all 4 providers that produced the email so that should rule out the Require Validation Success being unchecked in the run settings. This then caused credits to be used when it shouldn't have.

The waterfall continued running because the email found by the first provider likely failed the validation check. Our waterfall process includes email validation to ensure high-quality data. If an email is found but fails validation, the process continues to the next provider. To prevent unnecessary credit usage: 1. Review your validation settings. By default, catch-all emails are considered valid. You can toggle "Only mark 'Safe to Send' emails as valid" to be more conservative. 2. Check the hidden validation columns to understand why emails are being marked as invalid. 3. Consider adjusting your waterfall configuration if needed. If you need further assistance, please request to speak with a human agent in this conversation.

No, email status is marked as valid in all of the providers. Is there another place to check.
