Using Custom Emojis in Slack Bots: CDN URL Issues and Solutions

For my slack bot, I want to use a custom Adaptive (our company) emoji. I gave the emoji field a url used for an asset delivered via CDN, but this does not work. How can I do this?

I understand you're trying to use a custom Adaptive emoji for your Slack bot. Unfortunately, our Slack integration doesn't support using custom emojis via CDN URLs. The emoji field in our "Send Message to Channel" action is designed for standard emoji names. For your Slack bot messages, you can: 1. Use a standard emoji name (e.g., "😃") 2. Leave the emoji field blank If you need to use a custom emoji, you might need to add it directly to your Slack workspace first.
