How do you export the people that Apollo finds as part of your export?
Yes. I’m helping someone so it’ll be his and I dont have access but this is what he sent
He’s thinks he got the people to a new table, however most say “email_not_unlocked@domain.com”
Hey Jeanne, thanks for reaching out! To clarify, do you need to export that list out of Clay or are you looking to get the emails?
I took a quick look at the table and it looks like it has the Write to table integration properly set up to move the people from one table to another.About the emails: This is due to the fact that Apollo fixed a bug in their API that had been there for months and why it now says "[email_not_unlocked@domain.com](mailto:email_not_unlocked@domain.com)".Apollo’s API was designed so that when you search for people, a person’s email address wasn’t added to the response unless you had used apollo credits and saved them as a contact to your apollo account. However, you can still use Apollo's Enrich Person integration to get that value.
Ok how would I do that? I’d like to have him export the original table with the people
Is there a help article on how to use the Enrich Person integration in a table?
Hey, sorry for the delay. Many threads coming in today :)
I know! I see how busy you are. Just trying to figure it out myself to save ya.
But I can’t seem to find something to send him
We don't have an article on that exactly, but it's very straightforward too. All that needs to be done is select the enrichment and add the inputs (in this case the columns with the contact's names and domains). Once you run, it should return people's additional information which could also be the email
OK Great. I’ll sent that to him! That would be on the person one here https://app.clay.com/workspaces/11130/tables/t_q6XyciPQeCDr/views/gv_Rc17bKtH4ybD
About exporting the entire list of contacts from the original table, unfortunately, we don't have and don't recommend doing that because if you extract the entire list of people there (in the company table) it could re-run other enrichments that already previously ran and just burn extra credits for the same data you already collected once
OK> So instead it should be from the people and run the ones to enrich?
Our approach and way to keep info clean is to have a Company table and a People table so corresponding enrichments can be used and make credit usage much more efficient and cost-effective. So yeah, from the people table that's where you use this integration
The first link you sent... https://app.clay.com/workspaces/11130/tables/t_q6XyciPQeCDr/views/gv_Rc17bKtH4ybD
I took a quick look but it appears there's no relevant data that was pushed. I can help correct that so you can continue with the enrichment.
There we go, I just re-mapped the Write to table integration so the appropriate data points get pushed over to the People Table and now the Enrich Person Integration can be used with the corresponding inputs :)
I pushed the contact ID so it's much easier and that's the only input it would require. Figured I'd add the Enrich column for you but from there it should be easy to follow what steps were taken
Thank you so much! I’ll let him know!!!
He’s wondering how did you get to contact ID
Sorry for the delay! The contact ID came from the initial Apollo Find People search, each person should have one.
What is wrong in the setup that it doesn’t show that?
He wants the list from here of all
Contacts to a different one.
Yep, correct. I believe we were able to achieve that yesterday and pushed them to this table but it appears there's nothing there anymore. Did your client happen to delete the records?https://app.clay.com/workspaces/11130/tables/t_q6XyciPQeCDr/views/gv_Rc17bKtH4ybD
All that's needed is to re-run the Write to table integration in the original table so they get created again
Let me know if I can re-run that column to created the contacts again.
I'll DM a loom video of the steps I followed so it's easier for you and the client to recreate it.
That would be very helpful. Thank you! And yes please if you can rerun. Basically he wants to create a list of companies from the google search and then enrich contact name, email, titles, from that company in a waterfall with Apollo then clay via hunter io
Okay, will record it. I'll have to make some updates cause I see some things changed from how I originally mapped the columns
Awesome! Just DM'd you the video. Hope it help!
Thank you so much!
