can claygent run javascript code on console of a website?
Claygent is designed to access and retrieve publicly available data from the internet, but it doesn't have the capability to run JavaScript code on a website's console. It's an AI-based web scraper that focuses on retrieving unstructured data from non-repeatable locations on websites. how do I do this if I have to do?
Hey Sunny, Thanks for reaching out! I’d love to learn a bit more about your use case and goals so I can guide you in the right direction. Could you share an example of what you're hoping to accomplish? That’ll help me recommend the best approach. Cheers, Daniel
hey Daniel, It was for scraping basically. I had written a js script executing on the console which goes through the HTML and extracts a certain data for each website row on clay.
Hey Daniel, This isn’t possible within Clay at the moment. That said, tools like Apify might help—especially since they support custom JavaScript execution for scraping. Not sure how you’re running the script exactly, but if you have ideas or suggestions, definitely let us know. It’s the first time we’re hearing about this use case, and we’re curious!
