Find Linkedin Posts native tool is not working. It says no posts for all of these people. I'm manually checking their personal profile and their company and they do have recent posts. My filter is set to 40 days ago as the starting point Table here https://app.clay.com/workspaces/310596/tables/t_NZHXkDMPb8WK/views/gv_ydwzk2dsGFdR
The LinkedIn posts data might not be showing up because our data providers don't use active sessions or cookies to scrape LinkedIn data live. Some LinkedIn content is only visible when logged in, which can result in missing or incomplete data.
Looks like you're still looking for help. We're escalating this over to our support team and someone should be in touch soon. In the meantime, feel free to include any other information that may be helpful in solving your issue!
Asking for a human because it's not working at all, doesn't seem right. I get that sometimes an enrichment involving linkedin may not work but right now the feature is completely useless. Can someone look into it? If not, can you recommend other enrichments that can accurately tell me about their last post? thanks
Hi Alexander! Thanks for reaching out! The reason you’re not seeing posts for a person who has posts is that the data providers don’t have access to live data from platforms like LinkedIn. They rely on public or previously available information, which may not always reflect the most up-to-date activity. If you need live data from LinkedIn, it’s a bit risky, but you could try third-party tools like Apify or Phantombuster to scrape that data. However, keep in mind that scraping LinkedIn goes against their terms of service, so proceed with caution. Alternatively, RapidAPI has a few third-party Linkedin APIs that you can pull posts from and cross-compare. Let me know if you need more details! 😊
Hey there - just wanted to check in here to see if you needed anything else! Feel free to reply back here if you do.
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
also to clarify - Phantombuster doesn't have an option for me to use Clay credits, only API key correct?
Hey Daniel it might be worth looking into my table https://app.clay.com/workspaces/310596/tables/t_NZHXkDMPb8WK/views/gv_ydwzk2dsGFdR I just ran 100 rows and all are showing no posts, which is incorrect. I understand that with this type of Linkedin enrichment, it could miss some posts or have outdated information like you said - but this has never happened where it's coming back with "None Found" every time, for this many records
I tried it on another table. 1000s of rows. doesn't work for any of them still https://app.clay.com/workspaces/310596/tables/t_QR3iZepGarQ7/views/gv_BFXTxwCuyiQJ
Hey! I checked your table but don't see thousands of rows there - did something change? Here are a few options while we work on fixing this integration (should be ready mid-next week): 1. Try removing the data filter and run it again 2. Use Claygent instead 3. Switch to connecting your sessions cookies with a tool like Apify or Phantombuster, they are both found in the enrichment panel by clicking the "add enrichment" button at the top right of the page.» Let me know which option you'd like to try and I can help you set it up! 🛠️
thanks for the quick response! And I sent over 2 tables, the latest one I sent is the one where I ran it in 1000+. I'll try claygent, I didn't know Claygent would access linkedin - how would this work? And just so I'm aware as a backup option, what's the quick summary of the Phantombuster/connecting cookies enrichment? No need to send me detailed steps, just curious what that is or what it does
Yes - Let me break down your options: 1. Claygent with GPT4o: - Works better for LinkedIn access - You can ask it to find recent post URLs or analyze posts - Can specify timeframes - Use our metaprompters for baseline searches 2. Phantombuster/cookies approach: - Uses your LinkedIn session to scrape data - Can grab profile posts and data - ⚠️ Heads up: This can be risky for your LinkedIn account Claygent with GPT4 is probably your safest bet but Apify and Phantombuster might end up being less costly (although more risky)
thanks. I'll give Claygent a try. I did a quick prompt before seeing your info now, most of the responses were saying "I can't find it as I can't access linkedin"
any tips?
Do you mind sending the link to the table so we can take a look? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1171717996/ac7729f84b426e1d0358af02/image.png?expires=1733174100&signature=1c1b985f00d3b6bbdf827ee521b7defb6e5abe519f70f67a4c5d312ed81d0698&req=dSEgF85%2FmohWX%2FMW1HO4zYTywSj9AZMX2BKsam%2FhVPtOHQ%3D%3D%0A
sure!
it's all the way to the right at the end of the table
There you go; I've updated the prompt, update the response outputs too and I managed to get some examples going. I also created a formula column to only extract the responses that were worth it! :)
you rock thanks!
