    Also for a second question, is there a feature on clay sort of like pandamatch where i can find companies who have multiple lookalike domains/to find out if they are doing cold email? Any creative ways on clay to do that?

    Hey Tomer, thanks for reaching out. Regarding the connection between Clay, Slack and Skool. I'm curious would enriching contacts be an ongoing workflow you'd like to implement so that if a new member joins your Slack or Skool community they automatically get enriched in a Clay table? Or are you hoping to do this on an ad-hoc basis? Regarding lookalike companies we integrate directly with Ocean.io and you can either use this a source or enrichment. Meaning you can start building a list of lookalike companies based on the filters in the image below, or you can build a list a different route then find lookalike companies an all companies within that list. This costs a credit per result found when building a list from scratch. Interesting ask for attempting to identify if your competitors are performing cold outreach. My first thought would be attempting to enrich their tech stack and see if they use an email sequencer like Smartlead, Instantly, etc. which could imply yes. Curious have you attempted to identify this in the past? If so, what were some strategies you used then?     Hey Owen C. you’re the man for that response and actually other slack/skool groups like the smartlead group for instance to identify smartlead users but can you enrich most people solely based on the slack/skool groups?

    Ocean.io is a decent option I’ve already ran lookalikes on pandamatch, but I need a lot more data. Enriching a tech stack is hard because these platforms don’t have a pixel or widget that you can really identify companies using them. Haven’t attempted this but currently sending 1.5M emails a month and need better targeting. Launching another SAAS/AI pretty soon and I’m going for 300M a month but that’s general targeting

    Hi Tomer, tf course! Regarding Slack/Skool groups, are these communities that you own, or are you looking to scrape data from external channels that you don't manage? Essentially, are you aiming to analyze inbound users signing up for your Slack/Skool community, or are you hoping to pull data on people in other communities who have an interest in [X category]? As for identifying if a company is doing cold email, I understand this can be challenging for the reasons you mentioned. I'm curious, what are some tangential data points you think could indicate a company is performing cold outbound? For example, looking at specific roles within their sales team, if a company has a large BDR team, it's likely they're doing some form of outbound, compared to a team composed mostly of AEs. Not 100% certain that's the winner data point but just brainstorming! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

    Scrape data from slack/skool communities I don’t own is the idea. For us it’s either they are using a cold email software or following (which we’ve done). Using a cold email software is tough to find, we thought about leveraging forward domains but I need some creative way to do it

    Gotcha, makes total sense. It looks like there may be a way to scrape public Slack channels using the following Phantom: Slack Scraper: How to Scrape Data From Slack Channels and potentially for Skool as well using this Apify Actor: Skool Members Scraper. Haven't performed this myself, however this is a good place to start. Agreed regarding cold email software. When it comes to forward domains, are you referring to monitoring how many domains redirect to a specific company URL? As in, trying to correlate with the volume of outbound activity they’re performing with the number of forward domains. That actually would make sense, would be interested in seeing what tool or API could perform that our how that would work. Haven't seen this personally but will keep an eye out, given we Clay can connect to just about anything that has an open API theres gotta be a solution here. Will stay on the lookout and let you know if I see anything!
