Help Needed: Creating a Table to Monitor Twitter User Posts

·
·

Alright Clay team + community, would love some help with this one. Will be a huge hack if I can figure it out. I'm looking to make a table that can monitor a list of Twitter users and push a notification each time the user posts something new. Right now, I have 2 questions:

  1. 1.

It doesn't look like the integration is pulling in the correct info, see number of likes and posting time in screenshot.

  2. 2.

Will the row auto update each time there is a new post from that user?

Table link in the thread.

To create a table in Clay to monitor Twitter users and auto-update with new posts, follow these steps: 1. Create a new table: • Click + Add at the bottom of your workbook • Search for "X.com" (formerly Twitter) and select it 2. Set up the X.com integration: • In the table, click Add enrichment and search for "X.com" • Choose one of the X.com enrichment options 3. Enable auto-update: • By default, new rows will automatically run the enrichment • To customize, use formulas to trigger the column when specific conditions are met For real-time updates, consider setting up a webhook: ** Select "Monitor webhook" as a source ** Use the provided URL or cURL to send data to Clay If you're still experiencing issues with pulling correct info like likes and posting time, please share more details about the specific problem you're encountering.

Hey Clark, The way it's currently set up in your table is only as an enrichment. Not a source. To monitor daily, click the gear icon beside the action button on the top right, then click "Schedule." Select "Only selected column," add a column, and find "Recent activity for person or company." This allows you to rerun it daily. If you want this as a source instead, you can select "Pull activities from account" when creating a new table. From there, add your handles (up to five). I've created an example in your workspace - a table called "Pull activity from X account." This source runs daily and creates individual rows for each post. As you can see, Elon Musk tweeted quite a bit. Let me know if this helps with your decision!
