Hello - I’m using RB2B to identify companies who visit our key pages and then I filter by firmographics (e.g., company size, industry, etc.). The part I’m stuck on is then getting emails from contacts of the ICP. While I’m able to find them using our Apollo account connection, I’m not receiving emails, they return as: email_not_unlocked@domain.com I have plenty of account credits with Apollo, just not sure why or how to get Clay to return the email.
Apollo now requires a two-step process to unlock emails. The "Find People at Company" enrichment only identifies contacts but doesn't unlock emails, which is why you see "[email_not_unlocked@domain.com](mailto:email%5Fnot%5Funlocked@domain.com)". Solution: 1. Use Apollo's "Find People at Company By Job Title" to identify contacts 2. Use "write each item to new row in other table" to extract results to a new table 3. In the new table, add "Enrich Person From Apollo" enrichment, mapping all columns except email 4. Run the enrichment - this will unlock and return the actual email addresses This two-step process is required by Apollo's API changes, regardless of your credit balance.
