Setting Up a Job Change Signal in Clay: Excluding Clients from Outreach
I’m currently working on setting up a job change signal in Clay. The goal is to identify people who have recently switched jobs, so we can reach out to them as part of our new business outreach. However, there’s one important condition: We only want to reach out to people who have moved to a company that is not already a client of ours. If someone has just joined a company that is already a client, it would be inappropriate (or even damaging) to approach them from a sales perspective. To manage this, we’ve created a blacklist table in Clay that contains all the companies that are already clients of ours. My question is: What’s the easiest way to use this blacklist table to exclude people from the job change signal table? Specifically: how can we ensure that only people whose new employer is not on the blacklist remain in the job change list?
