Hi there, I am having trouble finding the email addresses for my contacts using Serper.Dev integration. I was hoping someone could look at my table and see if the inputs are correct
To find email addresses for your contacts, here are the key requirements to check in your table: For finding work or personal emails, you'll need either: ** A LinkedIn profile URL for the contact OR ** The contact's full name AND their current employer/company domainMake sure you have at least one of these combinations properly filled in your table. Without these inputs, the email finder won't work effectively. For the best results: 1. Double-check that your LinkedIn URLs are correctly formatted (e.g., linkedin.com/in/username) 2. Ensure company domains are clean and don't include http:// or www. 3. Verify that full names are properly formattedIf you need to verify specific inputs in your table, please share the details of what you've entered and we can provide more targeted guidance. Hey Griffin, thanks for getting in touch. Could you let me know which specific column(s) you were concerned with?
Yes, Its email column
I was hoping to have it pull in emails from linkedin
and based off the owner response
Mark L. are you still there?
Sorry, you'd mentioned using the Serper.dev integration, and I didn't see it anywhere in use. (E.g. an HTTP API column, or one related to scraping.) But it wounds like you're using the waterfall in lieu of Serper? In your "Work Email" waterfall, I see you're trying to provide the social profile found by the "Company Owner" AI column. It looks like the trouble is that the "Company Owner" column is not providing consistent data to work with. To help with this, two recommendations: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1353935883/646782f2d03ec991c1779c55213c/20250127-help-me-define-outputs.png?expires=1738016100&signature=7b8d76c944b63816a8b7a712337fa7e7c996d4843fb6c06f3c95ca546202b0ca&req=dSMiFcB9mIlXWvMW1HO4zQdinfAcfA9ka20SXyjoRoYD%2FFsiqSlAKwkd0yNI%0A%2BAm2%0A 1. Use the "Help me" option to fine-tune your prompt. 2. Check the outputs, and put guardrails in place by sharply defining the outputs you want. E.g. a text field for the name, and a URL field for the LinkedIn Profile. Typically, the "Help me" option will help with #2 as well. But it's worth calling out separately, since it's a simple but powerful way to focus the AI's response into exactly what you want. With that done, you can update your waterfall to use those refined AI responses as the inputs. Could you try that, and let me know how it goes?
I am still having trouble with it. I have the prompt set to what I would like it to do scraping the owners name and then utilizing the owners name and the "title" i was hoping to be able to find an owners email address
Hey there Griffin thanks for reaching out, jumping in for Mark here, in this instance as Mark noted the "Help Me" option can better fine tune this prompt. Also checking the prompt, I see that it mentions "address" and not email address as well, which can be changed.
