Hi Clay S. and Clay-enthusiasts & experts! We set up a Job Change Signal and are wondering the following. The Signal doesn't give us by default the newest job title. We need that job title though, so we can congratulate them in a personalized LinkedIn message, where we congratulate them and refer to their new job title. Now we built a Claygent that scrapes their LinkedIn profile in order to find the latest job title, but this is error-sensitive and not cheap. Is there any way to solve this?
Yes, you can get job titles automatically through the Job Change Signal's enrichment options. When setting up "Monitor for job changes," you can optionally add enrichments to gather additional data including updated job titles. The Job Change Signal creates a new table with job changers and their LinkedIn profile URLs, and you can customize the workflow to enrich job movers with LinkedIn profile data. This built-in enrichment should provide the new job title without needing separate Claygent scraping.
You can use: theboomerang.co, we've an API for real-time LinkedIn scraping.
When setting up your Job Change Signal, you can add enrichments in step 5 to automatically gather additional data including updated job titles. The Job Change Signal creates a new table with job movers and their LinkedIn profile URLs, and you can customize the workflow to enrich job movers with LinkedIn profile data directly. This built-in enrichment should provide the new job title without needing separate scraping solutions.
